Acceptance
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
helixatom Remote JS Debugger lets you pair a dashboard with one or more browser pages that load our client, stream console and related debug events, inspect API-style request events, run JavaScript in a selected client tab, and manage locally saved functions. The service is provided for legitimate debugging and development purposes.
No account; your responsibility for sessions
Access is generally available without creating an account. You are responsible for the session keys you create or share, for who can reach your debugging session, and for any code you run remotely. Treat session keys as temporary secrets.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attach the client to, or exfiltrate data from, systems or pages you are not authorized to access
- Use remote code execution to harm users, violate privacy laws, or circumvent security controls you do not own or administer
- Abuse, disrupt, or overload signaling, relay, or hosting infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the service except as allowed by applicable law
- Use the service in any way that is illegal in your jurisdiction
Remote code and third-party pages
Code you send runs in the selected client page with that page’s privileges. You are solely responsible for the effects of that code and for complying with the terms of any third-party site you inspect.
Intellectual property
The dashboard UI, documentation, branding, and SDK distribution we provide remain owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of code and content you author (including saved functions and .hatomf files). You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service you use (for example transmitting signaling or relay messages you initiate).
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service may depend on network conditions, browser capabilities, and third-party hosting. Peer-to-peer WebRTC may fail; a relay path may be used instead when available. Debug traffic is not monitored by us on either path; relay exists only to forward messages when P2P is blocked.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that debugging sessions will be uninterrupted or error-free on every network.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your inspection of systems you were not authorized to access.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the service operator is established, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we publish revisions. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
